Favourite Moment During The Footy Show

July 1, 2010

After watching the majority of the footy show, I had a really good night’s sleep. Maybe it was the fact I knew that Shane Crawford had been hit of the head 50 times. Or perhaps there was a hell of a lot less wind and rain. Or it could have been that I was well entertained by a crew that was in Geelong.

Whilst watching the program I was interested to see how keen Sam Newman was to find out about Gary Ablett’s status. Will he stay or will he go? Joel Selwood answered the question with the greatest of ease. He truly could have been a politician with that kind of diplomacy.

Newman asked if he would “see him off at the train station?” Cameron Ling in a moment of what can only be described as inspired stopped him and said to Newman you know they take planes now.
